Skidaway Island is 12 miles southeast of the city and is bounded by the Wilmington River, the Intracoastal Waterway and Romerly Marsh.  (A) From SOUTHBOUND I-95:
Exit I-16 East. Take I-516 East
(GA 21)-Lynes Parkway South
(changes to DeRenne Avenue), turn
right at the seventh traffic light
(Waters Avenue), then nine miles
to main entrance.
(B) From Northbound I-95:
Exit 94 (Highway 204), Abercorn
Street Extension. Continue 12
miles then turn right onto Montgomery
Crossroads. Continue 1.3 miles then turn right onto Waters Avenue, follow signs to Skidaway Island.
(C) From SAVANNAH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Take Airways Avenue to I-95 South. Follow the directions from Southbound I-95 above.
(D) From HILTON HEAD ISLAND: Take Highway 278 West to Highway 170 South. Follow SC 170 to Highway 17. Continue on 17 across the Savannah River Bridge (17 becomes I-16) to I-516 East (GA 21)-Lynes Parkway South (changes to DeRenne Avenue), turn right at the seventh traffic light (Waters Avenue), then nine miles to main entrance. |
